Proof Of Origin

With a view to simplifying the process and facilitating the trade for Customs Clearance of Declaration, it has been decided by Dubai Customs that the country of origin of goods marked in the Invoice shall be acceptable as proof of origin except the scenario where the Duty exemptions of Free Trade Agreement is claimed in the declaration

 At the time of providing information about ‘Availability of Required Documents’ in the Declaration Submission Screen, the Declarant shall be able to select a new value called “Declared in the Invoice” in place of Certificate of Origin if separate Certificate of Origin document is not available but country of origin of goods is marked in the Invoice document.
