Adherence to Midday Working Hours
In line with the annual initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation to protect employees from the extreme summer heat, mandatory mid-day break has come into effect until 15th September 2023.
Working under direct sun and outdoors are prohibited between 12.30 PM and 03.00 PM to protect employees from heat exhaustion, heat stress, heat stroke and related illnesses.

Failure to comply with the above will result in penalties.
