Closure of CT2 Dubai Customs X-Ray Inspection for Infrastructure Upgrade Works

Due to system and infrastructure upgrades, Dubai Customs’ Container Terminal 2 X-Ray Facility will be closed from the 22nd February to the 20th March 2023.
During the closure. facility users are advised to use other Dubai Customs X Ray Facilities located at Gate 3, Container Terminal 1, and Car Yard A.
Please note that other Inspection activities at Container Terminal 2 Inspection Complex will remain uninterrupted.

DP World UAE Traffic Management with Facility Management are conducting necessary infrastructure maintenance for Gate 03 Customs and Municipality Inspection Complex from 21st Jan to 22nd Jan 2023, with a total distraction to the inspection activities.
Facility users are encouraged to use the Dubai Customs and Municipality Inspection Facilities located at Container Terminal 2, Gate 8, and Gate 11 during the closure.
During the mentioned period X Ray operations for Container Terminal 1 Outbound remain uninterrupted.

Closure of Strip Yard 1 Wash Bay

In line with our efforts to continuously improve our services, we are relocating our wash bay facility from Strip Yard 1 to the Freezone Marshalling Yard effective 21 March 2022.
This will contribute to centralise our services and facilitate customers' access to inspection and cleaning services, which are both located in the Al Yalayis Street Depot and the Freezone Marshalling Yard (behind the NMC clinic in JAFZA).

Dubai Cargo Village Inspection section consolidation

Customs Inspection Department is consolidating all the different sections in Cargo Village Inspection Center under a common section to be called “Dubai Cargo Village”.
Accordingly the following sections will be discontinued with immediate effect:
• Warehouses
• Emirates
• VAT Cargo Village
• EK AlRamoolHence while booking for Dubai Cargo Village inspection, client will be able to select “Dubai Cargo Village” section only.

Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) following the latest announcement by the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention and National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority for the safety of public health and In line with government orders Due to (government-imposed restriction) and following guidance from public health officials, please note that from Sunday 5th April till further notice in Jebel Ali and Tecom there will be no inspection activity from 10PM to 7AM in all Jebel Ali DC inspection Facilities.

Integration of Customs Inspection Booking Service with DP World’s e-Token System

Dubai Customs is pleased to announce the tie-in of Customs Inspection Booking service with DP World’s e-Token system. This facility will be available from 13th August 2023 for the FCL Import consignments at Jebel Ali port. Henceforth, clients booking for Customs Inspection service are requested to make note of the following:
1. In the case of declarations that are cleared with inspection for the following movements, Customs Inspection Booking will be automatically created once the e-Token is generated in DP World and for internal moves for customer’s wishing to conduct inspection in Port CFS. Hence Customers don’t need to book ‘Customs Inspection time slots’ for these Declaration types.
• Import to Local from ROW
• Import Statistical Declaration
• Import for Re Export to Local from ROW
• Import to CW from ROW
• Transit (ROW to ROW)
• FZ Transit In
• FZ Transit In from GCC and other Emirates FZ and GCC Local Market
• Temporary Admission from ROW to Local
2. Any amendments or cancellations of the token will get reflected in the corresponding Inspection Booking.
3. Clients will get notified of the inspection booking details through SMS and e-mail on the mobile numbers and e-mail IDs provided in e-Token. Therefore, ensure to mention correct mobile number and / or e-mail ID of the trucker to receive timely updates on relevant information.
4. Customs Inspection Booking for all other movements will follow the same procedure as before through the existing Dubai Trade service.
5. Customs Inspection Booking service for Mirsal-1 Declaration will continue to be handled as an ad-hoc service at the Inspection Center.The alignment of e-Token appointment and Customs Inspection timelines is expected to improve the traffic management at Jebel Ali Port and better utilization of Customs resources resulting in overall customer satisfaction.

New Inspection System Enhancement Effective From 8th January 2023

In line with the directive to streamline and improve the efficiency of Inspection activities at Creek Customs and Marfa Diera inspection Centers, the current inspection centers of CREEK CUSTOMS and MARFAA DEIRA have been combined as one single center in Dubai Trade inspection booking service.
Henceforth, clients who are booking their inspections for either CREEK CUSTOMS or MARFAA DEIRA should choose the new center name called “CREEK & MARFAA DEIRA CUSTOMS”. -
