DP World UAE Traffic Management with Facility Management are conducting necessary infrastructure maintenance for Gate 03 Customs and Municipality Inspection Complex from 21st Jan to 22nd Jan 2023, with a total distraction to the inspection activities.
Facility users are encouraged to use the Dubai Customs and Municipality Inspection Facilities located at Container Terminal 2, Gate 8, and Gate 11 during the closure.
During the mentioned period X Ray operations for Container Terminal 1 Outbound remain uninterrupted.

To ensure the safety of all, please exercise caution and follow the speed limits and traffic signs at the site. We encourage you to use Gate 02 as an alternative option for Exit during this period.
Please note that entry to Gate 1 will remain uninterrupted during this time.

Guidelines to Ensure Road Safety in DAZ

In line with our aim of ensuring the safety and security of our customers in Dubai Auto Zone (DAZ) and reducing the risk of road traffic injuries, we would like to remind you about following essential road safety guidelines. Let’s pledge to make our roads safer by adhering to the below:
- Ensure that you have a valid driving license, active car registration and an appropriate number plate on your vehicle.
- The maximum speed limit on DAZ roadways is 30 km/h. To avoid harming others, disrupting traffic flow, or damaging DAZ facilities, please stay within the speed limit.
- Use beacon lights to alert other road users.
- Pay heed to the warning signs and safety cones.
- Avoid the use of cell phones while driving.
- Parking in non-designated areas is strictly forbidden.
- Use PPE to interact with others while driving or when your vehicle has multiple users or passengers.Please note that in case of failure to comply with the above, violators will be penalised.

Important Notice: Changes at Jafza Gates 2, 3 and 8
To ensure the safety and efficiency of the traffic flow within Jebel Ali Free Zone, the following restrictions are implemented, effective immediately:
- Gate 2: Exit is no longer permitted for empty trailers.
- Gate 3 and 8: Entry is restricted for trucks without an active token or cargo gate pass.
All heavy vehicles affected by these changes should use Jafza South Gate 10 and 11 for both entry and exit until further notice.

To ensure the safety and efficiency of the traffic flow within Jebel Ali Free Zone, the following restrictions are implemented, effective immediately:
- Gate 2: Exit is no longer permitted for empty trailers.
- Gate 3 and 8: Entry is restricted for trucks without an active token or cargo gate pass.
All heavy vehicles affected by these changes should use Jafza South Gate 10 and 11 for both entry and exit until further notice.

Important Notice: Road Diversions at Jafza Gate 1 and 2
Due to ongoing construction works for the Jebel Ali Rail Terminal outside Jebel Ali Gate 1 and 2, we will be implementing traffic adjustments and road diversions starting 26 August 2024, for a period of approximately 18 months. These changes are to support the construction activities and maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
Key changes:
- Light Vehicle Entry
Entry to Gate 1 and 2 will be partially affected due to the closure of the bridge from Al Yalayis street. However, access from D57 (Al Yalayis street) and E11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) towards Gate 1 and 2 will remain operational.
- Exit for Light Vehicles and Buses
The exit route for light vehicles and buses will be diverted through a new route outside Jebel Ali Gate 2.
- Heavy Truck Diversion – Exit
All heavy trucks currently exiting from Gate 1 and 2 will be diverted to Jebel Ali Gate 7, Gate 8, and South Zone Gates 10 and 11, to avoid congestion.
- Fuel Tankers for Refineries (ENOC/EPPCO & Emarat)
Fuel tankers to and from refineries will be redirected through Jebel Ali Cargo Gate 3. Please follow the indicated signage for this route.
- EGA Vehicles
Exit routes from Jafza Gate 1 to EGA facility will remain unaffected.

Important Notice: Temporary Road Access Changes at Mina Rashid
Temporary road closures are currently in effect around Mina Rashid port and will remain in place for approximately two weeks.
While the main port entry and exit points remain unchanged, some surrounding roads are closed. To ensure smooth and safe access to and from Mina Rashid, all users are requested to follow the new access routes as shown in the maps below:

Important Notice: Vehicle Parking Guidelines in DUCAMZ
At DUCAMZ, your safety and convenience are our top priorities. To ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all, please ensure that the following guidelines are implemented:
- Keep all streets and traffic lanes free from obstructions, even after business hours.
- Do not park along roadsides, double park, or block traffic lanes under any circumstances.
- Always ensure your vehicles are parked correctly within the designated spaces within your facility, and that access routes remain clear and unobstructed at all times for emergency services.
Clear passage is essential for traffic flow and emergency access. Failure to comply may result in fines.

Jebel Ali Gate 3 – Light Vehicles Restricted
Jebel Ali Cargo Gate 3 is currently restricted to heavy vehicles only due to ongoing infrastructure works.
Light vehicles are not permitted to use this gate until further notice.
For entering and exiting Jebel Ali, please use gates 1, 2 or 4.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ENTRY LANES TOWARDS JAFZA GATE 1 AND 2
Please be informed that due to ongoing infrastructure works, the entry lanes heading towards Gate 1 and 2 from E11 Sheikh Zayed Road will be temporarily closed from Friday 5 July to Sunday 7 July.
During this closure, access from Al Yalayis street will remain open for all vehicles.
- Light vehicles coming from Sheikh Zayed Road should use Gate 4.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Sheikh Zayed Road should take the loop towards Al Yalayis street and make a U-turn at the intersection on First Al Khail street towards Gate 1 and 2.

Traffic Management Alert: Jafza Roads Now Monitored by Speed Radars
Speed monitoring radars have now been activated across all roads within the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), effective immediately.
The enforced speed limit throughout Jafza is 60 km/h. All drivers are required to strictly observe this limit. Please note that the speed radars will be operational at all times, and any violations may result in penalties issued by the relevant authorities.
This initiative forms part of a broader commitment to creating a safer and more efficient environment for all road users. We urge everyone to remain vigilant regarding their speed when travelling through Jafza and to drive responsibly at all times.

Traffic Rules at the Port and Free Zone Vicinity

In line with our commitment to ensure the safety of our people and customers, we would like to announce the new “Traffic Rules” that will be implemented effective on the 8th of May 2023 with a disciplinary ban system in case of violating any traffic rules.
